Artworks
All works must be ready for installation when delivered by Artist.
Two-dimensional works of art must be ready to hang with properly installed hanging wire. There are no exceptions to this rule. Sawtooth hangers, hooks, clasps, ledger boards, cleats, picture rails, standoffs, float mounts, and any other systems are not acceptable. All two-dimensional work must be wired for hanging.
Two-dimensional work must be framed unless the artwork is executed on gallery canvas no less than 1½” deep with all edges painted and a hanging wire properly installed.
All three-dimensional works must stand securely and freely on a horizontal surface without additional support(s).
All artwork must be the original work of the Artist, created within 24 months of application, and not previously exhibited within a 50 mile radius of La Crosse, WI.
All art must be in excellent condition, clean, and free from damage. Frames must be clean and free of scratches, chips or dents. The reverse of the frames must be presentable for sale.
Artwork not meeting these criteria will be rejected. The Pump House further reserves the right not to display every piece submitted.
